Jupyter Notebook - Change Auto Save Interval

  1. As a Codio admin, navigate to the following directory in the terminal: /usr/local/lib/python3.6/dist-packages/notebook/static/custom/
  2. Enter the following command to make a backup of custom.js: sudo mv custom.js customBK.js
  3. sudo vim custom.js
  4. Press the 'i' button to get into "edit mode"
  5. Paste in the code from step 6

  7. Hit the "esc" key, following by ":wq" (for "write" and "quit")
  8. In Codio, go to Project > Stack > Create New...
  9. Select "New Stack Version" and enter the change log note for changing the autosave time for Jupyter Notebook
