Updating Wrike Due Dates

Yumi Suh Updated by Yumi Suh

When completing any task in Wrike ahead of schedule, CSG members should follow this procedure:

  1. Leave a comment tagging the appropriate ID and IDD, informing them of marking the task as done and updating the due date to reflect date of completion.
    1. ex. "@ID @IDD I've completed this task. I'll mark this as done and update the due date to reflect the completion date."
  2. Mark the task as Done
  3. Update the due date to reflect when the task has been completed
You may see a pop up about updating dates in the rest of the Wrike project. Please accept these changes.

FAQ

If there are multiple assignees, who should be the one who updates the completion date and marks task as done?
The person who completes the last action needed for the task should be the one to do this.
Do we need to update the start date if it's past due?
Please update the start date to the date when the task has been handed off to you.
How do I find out who the IDD is on the project?
On Wrike, you can go back to the main project folder to see which IDD folder it lives in. Please reach out to Yumi (Creative Operations Lead) if you need to see how this is done.
If the task was closed but an ID/A re-opens up the task for a new request, what should I do?
You can either:
1) Create a subitem and leave a comment notifying the ID/A that you've created a subitem to handle the task. Remark the original task as done and leave the original dates as is.
OR
2) Reach out to Yumi (Creative Operations Lead) for her to handle communication and creation of subtask.
If we are waiting for an ID/A to answer if a project has any feedback or can be closed, what should we do?
If you do not hear back from the ID/A in 24 hours, please reach out to their manager to get a response. Please also mark the task as done. If they do reach out with changes or additional request after the task has been marked as done, please create a new subitem to handle the new task.
If I have a task where it typically would go through creative review and ID review, would I also need a subtask created to handle both?
This would be a case by case scenario. If the request is urgent and there's no time, it can be skipped. However, if there is time and it's not a rush request, a creative review and ID review subtask would need to be created.
