When Should I Schedule My Live Sessions For?

Ideally, Live Sessions should last about 45 minutes and be scheduled once per week (i.e., three-week courses will have three sessions), preferably on Monday evenings anytime between 6PM to 9 PM ET. Monday evening sessions allow us to establish consistency of this offering among eCornell’s course catalog and for planning purposes for students and facilitators.

If Mondays are not possible due to a pre-scheduled conflict, please consider Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 6PM to 9PM ET as preferable alternative options during the week. Please avoid mornings, mid-day and weekend sessions. If a session must be held over the weekend, Sunday afternoons, 4PM ET to 7 PM ET are preferred, if possible.

You may be able to host a combined Live Session for concurrent sections of the same course. All other Live Session sections must be hosted at a unique time. Check with your PFM to determine if concurrent sessions will be possible.
