Help! I Need to Reschedule a Live Session
In the rare instances when Live Sessions need to be rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances, 24-hour notice is required.
You will need to edit the date and time of the live sessions in Canvas by following the steps outlined in this article.
In addition to this, please post an announcement using the delay posting function (covered in this article) notifying students right away of the postponed Live Session before the scheduled Live Session is set to take place, preferably with the date and time of the rescheduled Live Session included in the announcement. The time should be moved further into the future (not closer),
If this is not possible, at a minimum, an updated scheduled announcement using the delay posting function should be posted to students within 24-hours of the rescheduled announcement.
The newly selected date and time should not be less than 24 hours away from the present at the moment when students are notified of the need to reschedule. This allows them some time to adjust their plans to try to attend.
*At any time, if you are unable to meet the specifications outlined in the facilitation and live sessions standards, including but not limited to, the required once-per-week scheduling, please let your PFM know immediately so alternate options can be arranged to ensure all students in all courses throughout our course catalog have a consistent premium experience.
