Students enrolled through special groups: Corporate and VA

Many eCornell Students are enrolled through a third party program, corporate employer, a Social Impact Group, or the United States Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

Occasionally, these groups, particularly students enrolled through the VA, require unique assistance and accommodations from eCornell staff to aid in their success. For example, if a student enrolled through the VA has a course go incomplete, all of their upcoming courses will be dropped per VA policy. For some, this can have negative effects on things like their housing allowance or stipends.

In these circumstances, we often try to support them with the accommodations (including, but not limited to):

- Extraordinary Extensions (beyond our typical 48 hour policy)

- Late Grading requests, sent by the Facilitation Support Team directly to the Facilitator from the students' previous course, and PFM to ensure swift action

If you have any questions regarding late grading requests, or policies for students enrolled through the VA or other groups, please reach out to ec_facilitation@cornell.edu
