Accessing Canvas Courses via CULearn

Casey Shew Updated by Casey Shew

Some courses accessed via the CULearn platform are housed in Canvas LMS. In these scenarios, such as the CU100s (Advancing Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at Cornell), you must access the course with an incognito window so that your eCornell credentials aren't interfering with your authentication with your NetID. Most CULearn courses that are Saba-native do not require going into incognito mode to access, but if launching the particular course from CULearn takes you to Canvas, then you know you will need to take the following steps.

First, to make sure that you're not accessing the courses with your eCornell ID, please disable your popup blocker for the cornell.edu domain and log into Cornell's Saba (culearn.cornell.edu) in your browser's incognito or private window..

To open an incognito window in Chrome click the following:

To open a private window in Firefox click the following:

At this point you can log into CULearn by logging in with your NetID and password at this link: https://cornell.sabacloud.com/

Once logged in you will see your CULearn dashboard and can launch courses from there.

If you take all of these steps and are still unable to access, you can submit a case to helpdesk@ecornell.com to look into the issue further.
