Conduct Content QA of Course

In short, you will ensure the course is launch-ready, and you'll log any items that need to be addressed to achieve this in the QA tracker for the course.

Coming soon: Instructions detailing what to look for on each kind of course page are in development.

Conducting QA of a course includes several items, including:

  • Standard items listed on the QA tracker — discussion language and settings, course project submission instructions language, course settings, order of certain pages, etc. — is correct
  • Accessibility best practices are used throughout
  • Course page titles are correct, and page icons are populating as intended in Course Map
  • Links are worded appropriately and resolve at intended location (i.e., S3 instead of Google Drive)
  • External activities (i.e., Codio, H5P) behave as intended in student view
  • Pre-requisite/Completion settings behave as expected, when used
  • Final files appear in course
