Can I Provide Students with a Letter of Recommendation?

Unfortunately, no. It is eCornell's policy that no one (faculty, course facilitator, staff, etc.) can provide a letter of recommendation or reference. Additionally, eCornell cannot provide a letter attesting to a student's intent to enroll, intent to complete a program, academic standing, or other academic details.

Students are encouraged to retrieve their Record of Online Coursework (transcript) as proof of successful completion and/or student status.

Please feel free to share this student-facing article with this information with students if it would be helpful.
