Joining the Facilitator Community Hub via Microsoft Teams

The Facilitator Community Hub is our dedicated space where all eCornell facilitators can come together to share insights, exchange best practices, troubleshoot challenges, and celebrate successes. Whether you're looking for creative ways to engage students, need a “sanity check” on your grading approach, want to discuss the latest trends in your field, or simply are looking to chat with fellow facilitators, this is your space.

Getting Started

2. Access Microsoft 365 Teams by clicking the box made up of 9 dots in the upper left-hand corner, and then clicking "Teams":

How the Facilitator Community Hub is Organized:

We've organized the Hub to help you connect with the right people and topics. To help create a positive experience for everyone, we ask that all conversations remain professional, respectful, and in alignment with eCornells standards for Facilitation.

Subject Areas: You'll be tagged into Areas based on the certificates you facilitate, making it easy to connect with colleagues in your field. Examples include AI Tech, Analytics and Math, Marketing, Hospitality, Human Resources, or others. You can browse and participate in any Area that interests you!

Hot Topics: We've also created channels for popular discussion themes like "Students Using AI," "Live Sessions," and "Video Feedback" – topics that span across all subject areas.

You can customize your notification preferences in MS Teams to stay informed without being overwhelmed! Steps on how to manage notifications in Teams can be found on this page.
