Symposium Access Extension- Fall 2025

Symposium Access Extension

A Symposium is a live online event offered through eCornell that allows students to engage with peers globally through facilitated discussions and breakout sessions.

Symposia courses are auto-enrolled once a student is enrolled in a course that qualifies. For example, our AI Strategy program comes with access to the the AI Symposium.

Currently, we are offering Symposia in the following content areas:

AI

Hospitality

Human Resources

Leadership

Marketing

Project Management

Workplace Belonging

Beginning September 30th 2025, students’ access to Symposia will be extended from one year to two years following their last enrollment in an eligible course. No action is required on the student’s part - the extension will be automatically applied.

This update reflects eCornell’s commitment to expanding opportunities for connection, learning, and community across our programs. Student have been advised to reach out to their Facilitators if they have any Symposium-related questions.

More student-facing information on Symposia can be found in this article (please feel free to share with students if they have any questions!).

If your students come to you with specific technical questions related to a Symposium, please direct them to the Student Support Team at helpdesk@ecornell.cornell.edu for assistance.
